By booking, hiring, or using any vehicle provided by bholenathjourneys.com, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern all reservations, rentals, extensions, and related services offered by the company in India.

Booking and Eligibility

  • The renter must provide accurate personal, contact, and identification details at the time of booking.

  • The renter must hold a valid driving licence and any other documents required under applicable Indian law before taking delivery of the vehicle.

  • The company reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if the customer fails to provide valid documents, gives false information, or is otherwise ineligible to rent the vehicle.

Vehicle Use

  • The vehicle shall be used only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, traffic rules, and other applicable laws in India.

  • The renter shall not use the vehicle for racing, speed testing, overloading, off-road misuse, towing without approval, illegal transport, or any prohibited activity.

  • The vehicle shall be driven only by the authorised renter or any approved driver holding a valid driving licence, where permitted by the rental arrangement.

Rental Period

  • The rental period starts from the date and time mentioned in the booking confirmation or agreement and ends when the vehicle is returned to the agreed location.

  • Any request for extension is subject to prior approval and vehicle availability.

  • If the renter keeps the vehicle beyond the agreed time without approval, additional rental charges, late fees, or penalties may apply.

Payments and Security Deposit

  • The renter agrees to pay the full rental charges, taxes, tolls, parking charges, interstate taxes, challans, and any other applicable government levies.

  • A refundable security deposit may be collected before vehicle handover and may be adjusted against damage, unpaid dues, penalties, excess usage, or other liabilities.

  • Refund timelines for security deposits may vary depending on inspection, pending challans, or damage assessment.

Fuel, Distance, and Extra Charges

  • Fuel policy shall be as communicated at the time of booking, such as same-to-same fuel return or separate fuel charges.

  • If kilometre limits apply to the booking, extra kilometre charges shall be payable at the company’s prescribed rate.

  • The renter shall bear all expenses relating to tolls, parking, border taxes, permits, and fines during the rental period.

Delivery and Return

  • The vehicle must be collected and returned at the agreed location and time unless otherwise approved in writing by the company.

  • The renter must return the vehicle in substantially the same condition as received, subject to normal wear and tear.

  • The company may inspect the vehicle at return, and final charges may be assessed after such inspection.

Damage, Loss, and Liability

  • The renter is responsible for any loss, theft, damage, seizure, negligence, misuse, or accident involving the vehicle during the rental period, except to the extent covered by applicable insurance terms.

  • The renter shall be liable for repair costs, replacement costs, insurance excess, depreciation, recovery charges, towing charges, and any parts or losses not covered by insurance.

  • In case of accident, theft, or major damage, the renter must immediately inform the company and also report the matter to the nearest police station or other competent authority where required.

  • The renter is solely responsible for all traffic violations, e-challans, fines, penalties, court matters, and legal consequences arising from use of the vehicle during the rental period.

  • If any challan or notice is received after completion of the trip for the rental period, the company may recover the amount from the renter along with applicable administrative charges.

  • The renter shall cooperate with the company in providing trip details, movement information, and usage records if required for legal or regulatory purposes.

Cancellation and No-Show

  • Cancellation charges, rescheduling charges, and refund eligibility shall apply as per the company’s cancellation policy communicated at the time of booking.

  • Failure to collect the vehicle within the allowed time may be treated as a no-show, and the company may cancel the booking without refund, subject to the booking policy.

  • No refund may be given for early return of the vehicle unless specifically approved by the company in writing.

Breakdown and Replacement

  • If the vehicle suffers a genuine mechanical breakdown not caused by the renter, the company may arrange roadside support, replacement vehicle, or proportionate refund, depending on availability and location.

  • No replacement guarantee applies in every case, especially outside service areas or in remote locations.

  • The company shall not be liable for indirect loss, missed meetings, missed travel plans, hotel costs, or business losses arising from delay, breakdown, or vehicle unavailability.

Company Rights

  • The company reserves the right to cancel, modify, or refuse any booking in case of operational issues, vehicle unavailability, document mismatch, suspected misuse, unsafe driving, legal non-compliance, or force majeure events.

  • The company may repossess the vehicle without prior notice if it believes the vehicle is being used illegally, unsafely, or in breach of these terms.

  • The company’s maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the total rental amount actually paid for the concerned booking, except where otherwise required by law.

Records and Complaints

  • The company may maintain booking details, hirer details, licence details, and trip records as required for business operations and regulatory compliance.

  • Customers may raise complaints or service issues through the official contact details below.

  • The company may maintain complaint and service records in accordance with applicable operational requirements.

Privacy

  • The renter agrees that the company may collect and use personal information, identification documents, contact details, trip details, and payment information for booking management, legal compliance, verification, and dispute handling.

  • Personal data shall be handled in accordance with the company’s privacy practices and applicable Indian law.

Jurisdiction

  • These terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

  • Any dispute arising out of the rental transaction shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at [Your City, India].
